In the heart of Pollok Country Park, The Burrell Collection has housed the 9,000-piece collection of Sir William Burrell since 1983. After a good run, it closed its doors for renovations in October 2016.
Finally, 66 months after closing, the museum swung open its doors to welcome the first visitors of the 2020’s – all 3ft 2inches of them.
The new building is flooded with natural light, has improved green credentials and blends antiquities with technology and interactive elements to create an educational and entertainment experience for little kids and small kids alike.
Like most museums in Scotland, entry is free but on-site parking is limited.
